What a great time we had at Equifest, despite being soaked to our knickers on thursday  Really thrilled that we won the Equifest Welsh A mares LR, my little girl is so proud of herself. She's had a lovely holiday. I met some lovely people, was great to see Ccragg (new owner of my highland, who looked fab) and Melons. Also lovely to meet Nursey and her daughter, Isobel today. I had the pleasure of being in the ring next to the dressage to music and was chuffed to see Lovepink and Sam both do their tests, Sam looked fab in his Mexican outfit and Lovepink in...................PINK! Great music and great riding, Candy is lovely XXXXXXXX Hope you had a good time LP X |

Oh well done garretponies junior! Look forward to seeing everyone's pics. My coloured stallion won his in hand class with his loaners but unfortunately I couldn't be there. I love this show.

Wow well done for winning the Equifest class they are tough classes . We did it last year and although the judge liked our boy he decided to jump in the air just before his trot up so judge said he loved him but couldnt place him as he was naughty [which is right ] . Did you do the evening performance then i bet that was fun . We need pics  |

Betsy seems to have got competitor friendliness down to an art! We were so disappointed not to come this year (except on Thursday!) as we loved it last year. Roll on 2012!

I didnt catch up with half the people I wanted to, just too busy and also a little emotional at time, being away from the security of home. Sam riding Candy - to his dressage to Music, bought tears to many eyes, as well as his proud mum & dad. Well done to everyone there, the standard was TOP, so those that actually won.........that is just amazing!!!!!!!!! Betsy is a bloomin saint and it was a fab show, despite a few hiccups - we will be there next year and know what to expect  |

All makes sense now heard the commentator saying about dad having a tear in his eye, looked fab from where i was watching outside ring 8, We too had a fab time at Equifest, our cheeky dartie was soo naughty in his fr on th and fri but finally decided that although the big pony party was great fun he should really start concentrating on sat and got a 5th and 3rd, the threat of sale or glue on the way to the ring did work lol x

It was lovely to see you garrettponies;D Dougal has been such a good boy all week and we have had some fab results. We got home tonight instead of waiting until tomorrow and he went straight out to play with his friends he'll get a well deserved break this week. Well done on your results ;D I was also soaked to my knickers on Thursday  but todays blistering sunshine had made up for that Hope to see you again soon and i'll send some pics or put them up on here |

As requested a couple of shots of Sam and I - looking like a couple of right plonkers, trying to make people smile. Our little boy Jamie (RIP) always made everyone laugh, so we thought we would try to raise a smile in his honour.........   |

Well done to everyone and have to agree it was a great show AGAIN!
We were totally manic during the day as I thought and think we did spy LP in the photo stall on day 1 but didn't want to interrupt to say hello, so glad you and Sam had such a great time.
Didn't manage to catch up with some folks during the evening though.
I think this show is just brilliant - captures what a championship show is all about and still maintains a great friendly atmosphere.
We were really pleased with our baby B who must have wondered what was going on - dragged from his field to something as big as this! but managed to be placed in all his classes.
Novice C started on a high - 2nd in the open and was a star in the evening performance, no earplugs or calmers and stood like a pro! 2nd in the novice in the pouring rain, pulled top in the Equifest final C class and unfortunatley lost his footing on gallop and changed legs so quite rightly got dropped, but hey ho that is novice's for you.
Well done to Betsy and team - already thinking about next year!!!

Your daughter is a little cutie, Isabel got on so well with her and your pony is heavenly. good luck for the remainder of the season, you deserve success, you are a seriously nice person!! it was lovely to meet you and youf family.

A massive Whoop Whoop for Betsy & her team for putting on a show of that size and magnitude !!!! we also got our knickers soaked on the Thursday but it didn't dampen our spirits.....
A group of us traveled up from Southampton it was all our 1st time loved every minute looking forward to next years show.

Well done GP & lovely pics LP! ;D We had a fabulous time, actually think the standard in some classes was higher than some of the other big champs such as PUK/NPS, & the atmosphere was brilliant. The evenings were great too, something for everyone - hopefully we'll be returning next year! |
