Having lost one of our girls and the other being 16 now I am on the look out for a new pup.
MUST be KC reg, short & stocky with a good head and conformation. Preferably a dog, blue with white markings.
Pup will be coming to a top class family home with almost 20yrs experience of keeping, showing & breeding Staffords to the highest standard.
I spend a lot of time outdoors so pup will receive plenty of exercise and attention.
Not looking to spend ridiculous amounts of money (up to £500) but if you have a pup which fits the bill and want it to come to a loving family home please send me a pm.

Hi have you tried the KC website?
Not sure if you know, its only been identified the last 2 years so a lot dont know, but there is a new test that all Staffords should have before being bred.
L2HGA is a metabolic disorder which can see a pup having fits, and worse,at only 7 months old.
HC is the cateract test which has now been identified by DNA.
PHPV/PPSC is the annual eye test.
Parents dont have to be affected either to produce affected pups, two perfectly healthy carriers, who will never develope the disease, can both pass on a faulty gene and produce affected.
£500 is a good price to pay,i wouldnt pay any more, but i think you will find that a lot of blues are bred for the colour only, and will be asking a higher price.
I love the grey blue clour which is comonly seen with the yellow eyes, but it is not a true blue colour,as blue should be almost black with a black nose and dark eyes.
The blue gene is just a lack of pigment, which when bred constantly for colour,is watered down every time and can lead to more health problems, soft teeth, coat loss etc. but i wont go into that as you should not be breeding to produce a colour.
Blues are not rare either,in the breed record sups, there is hundreds bred every quarter, that isnt including the un-reg ones.
Please ensure that any pups you go to see are tested as it is a horrendous sight seeing a 7 month old pup lose control of itself, knowing that the breeder could have prevented it.
There is a great site for the Staffords called bullbreedsonline.
Free to join and there is lots of breeders on there.
Rescue always has pups if you would consider that.
If i can help just give me a yell.

Would quite like a pied as long as it was a good example of the breed.
Thanks for the advice, was aware that they should be tested now but we have been out of it for a few years so not up to standard, don't want one to show but having had a standard set we like to carry it on! My dad knows much more about it than I do, but ours were mainly Rellim, Judael & Nozac bloodlines (mainly because we were good friends with Audrey at Nozac!) We gave up because the dog world was far too bit*hy for our liking, and moved on to ponies LOL!

Meant to say will happily rescue but would prefer a pup, purely for the fact that it will have to be accustomised to the ponies

Hi Did you find a pup? Most SBT rescue do get lots of pups in if you were willing to take one. Audrey is still out there she has a nice young dog out at the moment and im sure she will know of any impending litters from him. Good that you have a standard, lots say well i dont want to show it ,it will only be a pet like because its only going to be a pet the health doesnt matter . Breed clubs will have a list of litters local also.
