Loulabell, the outside toilet was the only one in the household, we had to have small oil lamps on all night in the winter to stop the pipes freezing. I thought it was very posh to have a small light in the loo.
Milk bottles, when I were a lass, the milk was delivered in churns, by milk float drawn by Boxer one day and Dolly the next day, you had to go outside with a large milk jug to collect the milk and I think you paid for it each time. Will have to ask my big sister.

I may only be 25 but I remember freddo's being 10p and having penny chews from the shop after school!!
