i was disgusted with the sec a judging, i personaly think the mare that was second should've won in the 4 and over mare/gelding and the chestnut should have won the stallions, he out moved the lot!

George :- what won the section A stallion class? (If the chestnut stallion was Winneydene Golden Soverign I think the rest of the section would have to be quite poor to even consider putting that up even if it does move) You think Springlane ?? should have won for the Idyllics? Was it John Russel, Gartconnel juding?

Yes it was john russell, gart connell, the chestnut stallion lapstone ullseyes deserved to win as it out moved everything in that class!! i was watching and have never seen anything move like that!

Yes he is quite a mover, have seen better movers in my opinon but a good mover. So Mr russel made a hash of things then? Just wondering why some compeitiors in welsh sections went home??

Have just looked him up and realised which one you meant (I was thinking of another one), I've seen him before and to be honest the it not J russel's type at all. And secondly he is nothing like a section A, I wouldn't be surprised if he's over the height limit, and as for movement, its not straight movement at all, he dishes like mad! So whatever else the judge did wrong he did something right by not putting that up.

I thought that the judging for the large riding horse was dreadful!! The judge was met with shear silence when she returned to the stewards tent. Not one member agreed with her they were all totally disgusted!!

Results i know of so far Castlehill flash - h/f/d bay conny - can't remeber her name but local Bay connie, was Walstead Amaryillis, she went beautifully, stood out a mile in the go round and did a lovely show, very much deserved her ticket. Well done Alex. Well done Castlehill Flash, they to, did a fab job! The Dale in 2nd, was grossly overweight, it was very cresty and it's neck looked dimply, I thought they where supposed to be cracking down on the weight thing, but obviously it's ok for producers to have fat ponies? Pennel Mai very much deserved her ticket to. Many congrats.

Yes it was john russell, gart connell, the chestnut stallion lapstone ullseyes deserved to win as it out moved everything in that class!! i was watching and have never seen anything move like that! It may have moved better but maybe the judge saw something in its conformation that he didn't like. Remember its not the best moving pony competition.

Thought riding horse judge lost the plot!!! The grey was v naughty and still qualified for hoys. Thought the small should have ben champion with the large reserve of Jo Bates which went well but not great stripped in my opinion.
