Well i put the title thinking it was going to be obvious which society out of BSPS and PUK would win seeing as most people have been complaining about PUK last year and just generally. Clearly i was wrong! I know only a few people have voted so far so maybe it will change Will be doing my PUK entry tonite Molly....am dreading what it will add up to!!! Have never done NPS, but sounds like its fab, so have fun!

NPS for definite and looking forward to it already!!! Pony Butlins (PUK) at five times the price for less prestige and competition can stick it!!!! Money grabbing is what they are!

PUK for us its our annual holiday but agree it is becoming a tad expensive 2 ponies 4 classes each 412.00 and then diesel, living expenses there and spending money - its becoming an expensive holiday

I remember one year taking 6 ponies to PUK summer Champs to show. Worked out that Inc entries stabling ,staff, food, running 2 trucks etc etc the week cost me about £1800. Only did it the once. God knows what it would cost me now. NPS all the way as far as I am concerned.

yep 10 for lorry and this year 10 for each pony for first aid - def better in spain if last years weather was anything to go by - we stood around for ages in thunder storms last year and then i finally decided the going was too bad so abandoned the class anyway - was told its always nice at puk been 3 years now and its been raining every year - fingers xd for this year

Medical cover at P (UK) is 10.00 PER PONY!!! That is ridiculous. I am taking 3. So that is 30.00 then 10.00 to park my lorry. Why the hell we are charged to park our lorries is unbelievable. Classes then at 27.50. Next year I shall only register with one society - i have heard that NPS classes are cheaper and their championship show is great. I am not mean with my money but this showing game is becoming a sport for the mega wealthy only and it takes the fun out of it when it is getting so expensive.

I am an NPS fan. I was converted from ponies uk three years ago and would NEVER go back!! Nps championship show is more for the competitor and the society is not half as money grabbing!! Also, Nps is more prestigious with higher competition. Paying to enter and park lorries is just ridiculous! Give NPS a go, You will never go back to pony Butlins for your holiday again!!!

And when you miss Ponies Uk next year, with the money you have saved, you can go to Spain

PUK words the medical cover as a 'Donation', Donations are optional in my book and as we are going for a single day we won't be sending £10 per pony. We will send some to cover but won't be paying that ridiculous amount. If they refuse our entries...oh dear, never mind we just won't bother going. Up to them, accept what we send or lose another £200 worth of entries.

And after a quick google. A donation which is not made under the Gift Aid scheme is ignored by income tax.

So PUK make £10 per pony TAX FREE. I am even more disgusted than ever.
PUK told me last year (too late) its a donation and you do not HAVE to pay it.

personally, i really like bsps champs...so well organised, nearly always runs to time and not too expensive! We gave up with puk about 3 years ago- it was just getting ridiculous. Never been to nps as never had natives(until this year), so im looking forward to it as ive only heard good things im helping friends at both puk and bsps tho, so im at all 3 champs this year!
