Can somebody tell me whether judges are allowed to judge two qualifying rounds for this competition?

Well, it is HOYS themselves who are advising shows that a judge can only judge one round as they are running the qualifiers

I believe the judge in question is Rachael Bown who took on two hoys whp qualifiers.

I spoke to the show today and the judge they have down is Mrs Redvers. Don't know her but will have a bash anyway.

My apologies to those who were expecting me to judge the HOYS M & M WHP at Three Counties. Last summer when asked, I queried whether I could do 2 qualifiers and was told yes, I double checked with NPS office and it was again confirmed, I spoke to the other show and again it was cleared for me to judge provided I did 1 Confirmation and 1 Jumping section. 10 days before 3 Counties they rang me to say HOYS now said that I could not. Why had HOYS not checked their judges before now, when I had been asked last summer and the shows would have submitted their judges months ago. Another judge has also been put into this position like me, completely unknowingly but with a little longer for the show to find another judge. It is very embarrassing and I feel that I have let the show down but I acted in the best faith.

The problem Rachel is that the hoys WHP is no longer run through the NPS - so they had no call to tell you it was ok as it's no longer to do with them.
I think that when it was run under the nps you were allowed to judge 2 qualifying rounds, as is probably the case for the new rihs WHP

All judges know you are only eligible to judge one qualifying round for their finals at hoys. The nps have not run the hoys whp for two years so the rule for judging two rounds only applies to the nps top spec rihs m&m whp.

NPS allows 2 judges for the RIHS Topspec but some accepted 3 judging engagements and there had to be judge changes. One judge did judge 3 and she makes the rules!!!!!!

Please will you name the judge who has officiated at three rihs whp qualifiers and the shows. As I think you will find you are wrong.
