Barton! Deary me, think that's going to be just a tad small? If they have HOYS qualifying classes how will they park everyone? Are there enough rings, working in?

Barton? Could of picked a bigger venue but are they going to get the entries? They wont need a bigger venue If they dont! I guess some people will go to both shows If Red Rose Is at Myerscough!

We've realised we've clashed with Red Rose are on with changing it, there will be no HOYS qualifiers this year. We are a small band of people who are just trying to bring you a Puk back up North, its not run yet and already there's bad feeling, we are trying to hold it for the members and if we get lots of people coming in 2012 and get positive feedback we will probably move to somewhere bigger, but those of you that run these events know of the costs involved so please lets hope we have a great day..

Thank you for that as we wont travel to Addington. Just wish they would go back to having a winter Northern Champ. It was always so well supported, cant understand why they dropped it!
I had alsmost got to the point of wondering whether it was worth rejoining but you have given me hope!!! Good Luck.

soz to be negative but cannot see the point of the PUK @ Barton without the Hoys quals .... you can qualify for PUK at so many other shows and riding clubs in the north over the spring and summer months ... i agree with heath .. think it's a PUK Northern Winter Champs that peeps want back, please

we didn't have hoys qualifiers at the winters.. I think that whatever we try there will always be backlash off some, as most of you know, hoys qualifiers aren't handed out to just anyone and those that do have them need supporting. We are trying and as I said there's a lot involved in organising a small show, let alone a big one and to succeed we need support so rather than moaning that Puk don't do anything in the north please do try to support us and hopefully the winter champs might be able to come back up north.

I agree when they had the one at myerscough a couple of years ago it was so good and we had such a laugh including having my birthday there haha! I think making a big thing of the show would make it better otherwise the show will just be another show to choose to go to sorry to say! I don't know a puk show up here that has any big qualifiers a lot of people are getting fed up of travelling down south and the suppose to be northern named shows moving down south so some one needs to do some thing different!

Agree it's a good idea BUT will there be enough parking at Barton? Last time we went it was a winter BSPS/PUK qualifying show in about January, & they were struggling to park then
