NO!!!!!!!! But . . . . . with a points system, where would this count? It's not a conformation fault, and it doesn't affect the ride........ IMO, (albeit a fairly strong one) it against the breed/show standard, and such a pony should be placed at the bottom of the line. What did happen?

No glittery hoof oil, but the person who was associated with this particular pony should have known better and I will keep you guessing ................................. the clue I will give you is that it is a WELL KNOWN figure in PUK

But isnt it the trend at the moment to make a pony stand out from the rest. Laughable really that ponies cannot win on thier own merit. Mine was left at home this week cos a certain result was inevitable.I like mine to win on their own merit.

OOOOOh Highlights sound good. Just wish I could afford them for my self let alone the ponies A friend who cuts hair, regularly during the summer season ,goes out to palamino with a black tail to bleach it.

I hardly think that JJ would use quarter marks on his cob mares!
Besides they dont really need anything like that to stand out from the rest!

I do use sparkle spray on mane and tail - but it is very fine spray and not obvious glitter. Just looks better on white mane than oil which can discolour the white hair !
But quarter marks ...... ?!?
That said - in WH class, if this was the pony that jumped the best round and was top in every other respect then it should win on merit of its performance (quarter marks or not).
I still agree it is v strange thing to do though !!
