Not only am I guilty of having fat white legs but having fat white legs with flea bites from ankle to knee!! I have frontlined, sprayed everywhere and what really gets my goat is that I am the only person in the family to get bitten - young daughter who I would have thought was far tastier is immune as is OH - do you think they just love the fact my blood is probably 37.5% proof? ?

I am usually the unbitten one of the family - but not this year. I have also been plagued with ticks - which is worse! But hopefully Front lining thema ll will help - had to wait for the vet to get some in! You could also try what is called a Flea Fogger - you open it up and leave it in a closed area Hope you are not too scratchy now

Must agree that fleas are abounding this year, guess the weather must be to blame (it is for everything else!!) We in Somerset are having terrible trouble though with ticks, several of the horses and ponies have them and because they rub them off we are left with nasty lumps with heads left in and they get really unpleasant sometimes to the size of a 50 pencepiece and like a small volcano! sorry, perhaps more info., that you would like but just wonder if other areas of the country have the same scurge at the moment??

I have found that NEEM oil works fantastically well . You can purchase a 500ml bottle of pure neem oil direct from the neemteam website . then mix 30mls with olive oil up to 1lt in a spray bottle , spray it all over the animal and leave it ( by the way it does SMELL a bit !!!!) you can also add it to shampoo or conditioner and it lasts for ages . we did our 40 ponies/horses at the beginning of the winter and none of them have suffered from lice , fleas or any other insect and the horseflies are being kept at bay too .
