Do horses have to be flu vaccinated to get into the Royal Show stabling this year?
I have heard a rumour that it has changed for this year and in schedule says flu is RECOMMENDED - does that mean they don't need to be up to date?

I believe that vaccinations have to be up todate, last year they checked horses passports and looked at horses before entering the showground

But is that not just identity? It says in schedule that IDs will be checked on entry but only that flu vaccs are recommended. If only I could find last year's schedule to check how that read!

If you look on the NPS website under news it tells you that you no longer need them

Boy am I mad that I didnt reread the ......y schedule again as we were one of the ones TURNED away as we apparently had missed one by a couple of days in the annuals of time and this year didnt enter as the one pony is too old to start fluing all over again .... and I told friends they HAD to do their previously undone pony as they are going to Trailblazers at Stoneleigh.,....oh what a start to the week!!!
