Here are a few random results from SEWPCA show .... Supreme and Res Sup In hand went to Sec A Mares. 1st one was a ch roan barren mare, and 2nd was a broodmare with foal at foot called I think Tiffel Tiffany (?). Sec D Champion (and stallion champion by matter of being only one in ring!) was D Stallion called Nebo Herbert. V nice stallion - but was lame behind in the stallion championship. Not sure if owners did not know or just did not care ?! Obviously lame even in walk, not just a little lame. Sec D mare/gelding class was won by David Smith and really lovely black Broughton mare. Sec D Picton Ridden was a lovely big big chestnut cob with 4 whites (already qualified). 2nd I think was Pentreflyn Enfys that wont the HOYS at hickstead on Friday (but not 100% sure on that). Sec D Open Ridden won by Kate Harris and her lovely dun stallion .... shooting star (welsh prefix). And she was Ch Open Ridden as well. Sorry dont know any others - was too busy either hiding in lorry or doing dressage in the rain to see many classes Lexy

Just re-read my post - apologies for over use of word "lovely" !!
This show had one of the NPS dressage qualifiers - and definitely very well supported !! It started at 12.30, and I left at 4pm and they were still going .....
So if anyone running a show or dressage competition, and you could add in a qualifier to your timetable then I am sure you would get good turnout.
If you might be interested let me know and I can send you details of who to contact (PM 'lexy' my logged in name, just being lazy and not logged in).
Lexy.

The Supreme Ridden Champion was the winner of the Bob Templeton Championship, the dun welsh section d stallion ridden by Kate Harris.
Reserve Supreme was the Picton Champion, welsh section a Gypsycastle Dyfarnaid, ridden by Alice Minns.

Its certainly been out on the show circuit for a few years?

The name of Kate Harris stallion that was Champion Open + Supreme ridden is: Llanfyllin Shooting Star He is beautiful stallion, very true to breed type. Definitely a cob with loads of substance, but also pretty pony head. And sweet temperament too - I was holding him for her at one point and he is angelic. Here is pic of him for anyone interested: www.welshcobs.info/photos/rw162.JPGI did say I was not 100% sure about the 2nd placed Picton, so might well have been a diff pony and me getting confused. Sorry ! Lexy

have to say this year i was dissapointed with the standard of ponies, specially youngsters, why are the c's so small now?? riddens were nice though, far better types.
