On the same thread as horsebox hire, does anyone know of a caravan hire company which would supply for the NPS champs.
have my own caravan which we were taking but it may now be difficult to take ponies and caravan.
Any help or ideas gratefully accpeted.

Just phoned a motor home hire place up and nearly died £800 for the four days. Think it could well be a tent and camping stove

Come on Skint join the tent brigade, we have living on our trailer but the kids sleep in the tent and I sleep in the trailer, we only have a 2 ring hob and we manage, it all adds to the fun of things, go on give it a go!!!!

Mind you we did Chaps Champs last yr and goodness did we have bad weather, gales, gales, rain, thunder storms you name it it did not stop for the whole 3 days and the tent survived!!! Mind you it was weighted down with 10 tons of mud as was the inside of the trailer!!!!

I not sure if they still hire out caravans but try malvern caravans they use to deliver them

Woof, that tent of yours sounds pretty good. If it has survived rain , boys, flabby labby and a lass from up north I would say it must be a super tent. Do you hire it out?

We stay in nearby B&B with room + stable for approx same cost as stable on showground. And definitely cheaper than your £800 for motor home !!
Or alternatively tent sounds like good option if you are determind to stay on showground. You can get good 4 person tent for £100 if you look around.
Good luck in your hunt !!
Lexy.

There were quite a few tents up at 3 Counties and they all survived the monsoons Although we have a lorry it's not palatial - 2 ring cooker - air beds on the floor - loads of shavings and mud - but - it's our holiday!!! We could just be sunning ourselves on a beach somewhere!!
