Just an idea, i bet all of us have loads of things we want to sell, an selling saddles can be hard without being nearby to try then. Does anyone think it would be a good idea to do a list of items they have for sale even silly bits and bobs and then if anyone was going to say NPS, PUK and BSPS Champs could take their stuff along if anyone was interested beforehand for them to try etc.
I myself am looking for a saddle and it would be an ideal way to try maybe two or three without paying the trade stand prices
Just a thought

This is a good idea but how would you work paying for something like a saddle. I took a cheque from someone for a saddle when I met them at a show. The cheque bounced and I have never had the money. You could post a list on here and then they could send you the money in time for the cheque to clear before the show.

If you write the card details on the back of the cheque and the account number then I am sure the cheque cannot bounce, also put the address on the back

Sorry but cheques can still bounce thats why lots of places don't take them anymore -direct electronic transfer or paypal are much safer thats why ebay works. You really need to clear a cheque before you part with the goods, cards rarely guarantee over £150 and banks charge to clear quickly normally takes at least 5 working days. Same day transfer costs £20 though so bit expensive hence use paypal or cash.
