5 day weather forecast:
Sunday: light showers Monday: light rain Tuesday: Sunny Intervals Wednesday: light rain Thursday: Heavy rain
So not looking great really to give the ground any chance to dry out.
Lexy.

The displaced people of Upton need the Malvern buildings far more than us.

Yes its the show ground drying out but its the roads to the show ground most competitors have to come over the river seven, and the people that are staying there. i think there should think of an alternative now and forget malvern i would think the insurance company would be to pleased if it were held at malvern, there are to many what ifs!

I do not see how the NPS Champs can take place at 3 Counties, pictures of Upton on Severn on news this morning which is a very short disance from show ground, under several feet of water, as the forecast is not good for remainder of week, not much chance of water receding. It will have to be cancelled or re-scheduled....end August perhaps. It is a shame all the hard work by so many At the end of the day, 1000's of people are homeless, the fact some of us cannot get to a show seems unimportant

Moving the Champs is an option, but there will probably be many more people wanting a stable, I expect lots are within easy reach of Malvern and do not stay overnight.........can this be catered for if the Cahmps are moved whether it be to Kent or anywhere else...I would have thought a new date would be a better solution, although not easy I know

I find it very difficult to believe the show ground at Malvern is in perfect condition, the larger panoramic view of Upton on Severn this morning showed the Malvern hills and water stretching for as far as the eye could see, 3 Counties sits at the foot of these hills, it may be dry-ish this morning but the water drains off over a period of time, this is why the water level was still rising yesterday in Glos, Worcs and Oxford although it did not rain. The ground is probably perfect if you're a duck!!

Well I live in an area where there has been floods. My field in the week looked a quagmire, but today after 2 days of only light rain it is almost dry.
People are still flooded on 5 miles from me, so it is possible.

If they do move it I hope they take into account things like breed shows. If it is re-arranged it is likely to clash with something however it should not be allowed to clash with Breed Shows. I am however still really hopeful this time next week I will be loading my wagon ready to leave in the morning, lots and lots of poitive vibes..
