I would strongly recommend anyone going to this show to check that it is still on (or venue change). I have seen the f/cast for Sunday in Cheshire and its not good ....or for anywhere else in the uk! Somerford cancelled a very large BSPS show at 5 am on the morning of the show a couple of years ago! Some people had actually arrived. The show committee were, I believe, as surprised as anyone!

There a message on the NCPA website to say an indoor venue has been found if they are unable to go ahead at Somerford.

As much as tosca would have loved to have been there - she was out in the field enjoying the mud. The mare that we went champion with was actually Polaris tafetta

Well done to the Delami stud. Danielle, can you just set the record straight before the backstabbing gets out of hand that your foal is over 3 weeks old.

We would never show a foal that was not old enough to go to the show. if you would like to look - the mare was entered at Northleach but the foal was not old enough at that time so we waited until he was.

delami stud - you have to admit it was very close as from your website news on the 2nd july it states he was born last sunday so hopefully you mean the 24th June and not the 1st July! so he was just 3 weeks to the day of the show on sunday.

H have to agree close, would have been very close, but from the wording of the site it sounds as it was born on the 1st!

why do people always have to find something to try and put a damper on someone elses success. are the green eyes attacking again? i think they are!! i personally would like to to see a foal under 3 weeks old fight with the handler all day long like the foal that was shown on Sunday - i'm sure mine wouldn't!!! i have had a look at their nws page and to me - last sunday from 2nd July means 24th June. as all there other news posts say yesterday if it was yesterday. well done Delami Stud - you should ignore all the people on this site - apart from the ones that have said well done - hell - you've really made it if they start talking about you!!!

HERE HERE i completly agree with you. i know nothing about foals and inhand apart from the basics. But from what i have heard there are a few people out there who have nothing better to do than bit*h about how well other people do. Sad really. Exactly the same with the ridden competitors. Even though there are some people who are bent not everyone who wins is.

yes i also agree that rules are their as rules but have you not read the post from the Delami stud (about 6 posts up)- they have said - they would never show a foal unless it was old enough - come on people - give up on it, i dont know them personally but i would not have them down as anything but honest, hard working people whose ponies i'm sure are their highest priority. in my opinion - i have bred ponies for a number of years now ( too many to mention!!) and in my opinion, i thought the foal was at least 3 weeks old, my Other half actually thought he was about a month old - he was far too advanced for anything younger. the show is over, well done to all those who won (in the pouring rain) good luck with the rest of the wet season

Delami are a highly repected stud and have been breeding and at the top for many years and they sure know what they are talking about and would never do anything to harm one of there ponies. give it a break and stop b*tching
