Hi I have a 4 year old 12.3 registered british riding pony shes welsh sec b x riding pony last year I showed her in hand and she did well but hasnt done anything since last september, she is an extremley good doer and as Im too big to ride her I was thinking maybe she could be broken to drive as she really needs a job as shes in with lamminitus at present and is far too fat but its difficult to exercise her when she isnt ridden. She is definatley not a dainty riding pony type in fact shes prob bigger than most full sec bs her age, I love this pony and so Im trying to find some way of keeping her fit once shes sound again as I hate seeing her stood in her stable due to her lameness.
thanks

I have just broken a 4yo BRP - he was only used for in-hand showing prior to coming to me. He is now driving out, schooling nicely and attending clinics with a view to coming out next season on the local showing circuit. There are a few BRPs doing driving trials as well so really no reason why not
