This time next week I will be packing up the lorry for the Royal International (yes, I do intend to have it all done by then...but know I will still have a last minute rush...and my go to a show on Sunday too!!).
Overbent and others local to that area there are some important questions that I, and probably everyone else going, need answers to!
How are things groundwise and weather wise? Is it to be shorts and t. shirt with factor 25.....or the Dubarry's, mac and daft rainhat? fleece rugs or all weathers? Do I bother packing anything to whiten the white socks? Curries or salads? Pimms or mulled wine?

I suspect that it would be prudent to bring all of the above, one minute it's boiling hot, next it's humid and yucky and then just to keep us guessing out of the blue it will rain in one village and not in the next!!!!

I would suggest a hard hat, to protect you from the golf ball size hail stones, a bikini as it is likely to be very humid and thigh length wellies. if you wear all the suggested items of clothing at the same time you are guarenteed a pic in the Horse and Hound .

Michealfish, what a good idea! Afterall, we have won good qualifiers, been section champion...even managed 2 RIHS tickets within an hour one day!!!.....and still haven't even warranted a teeny mention in Nag & Mutt!!!!
Will check out M&S and see if they have anything suitable in their "slimming" underwear section....wouldn't want publishers to be put off by the thought of having to run my photo over a 2 page spread. Although not sure where I might buy "slimming" waders...any suggestions?

O.k for all of you up North here is todays weather report from down south.Today has been mostly fine with strong winds and only one heavy shower which soon dried up. Peacocks are doing a line of BAYWATCH style red costumes which make your legs look longer but any excess hair would need to be removed as they are cut on the high side side!! I am on the hunt for some wellies with heels as they are also good for the slender leg look but wedges would be bettet to walk in so any suggestions welcome? Also no big brollies please as my pony doesn't like them .
