i remember it rained all week in 1998 and the ground was a sloppy swamp ...just awful and dangerous too especially on that hill down the lorry field !

There is a small report in H&H saying it is def going ahead and they are spending tens of thousands of pounds on materials to put down to make surrounding surfaces better.
They were towing all the lorries at the derby meeting, but it still went ahead. And the ground condition in the rings was actually really good. They do have special artificial surfaces and draining systems under the turf I believe.
Hope we get some good weather this week for anyone going to RIHS/Royal Welsh/NF shows !!
Lexy.

I have heard the weather is meant to be really nice up untill wednesday. Wednesday is apparently meant to be really hot and from thursday and over the weekend the weather is changing to rain. Great. Thankful to the idea of having stud holes put it . xx

Does anyone know how we will be notified if they are planning on cancelling. We are travelling down on Wednesday night from Lancashire and competing on the friday. Might take a life jacket just in case!!

Ferret - looking forward to the pic however hope you will be wearing more than just the wellies! Either that or an exceptionally large glass to hide your modesty!
