Just like to say well done S4C for their coverage of the Royal Welsh I can't understand a word, but enjoying it all the same! I'm not getting any work done today as watching online.

It's fantastic isn't it?!! Horse and Country TV was good at the Royal but they need to look at what S4C is doing. We want to see the classes and the ponies not lots of interviews. Massive well done S4C.

Been watching from Scotland! Can't understand a word (and I bet it is interesting too!), but it really captures the atmosphere! We're going to make the trip next year, based on what we've saw on the tinternet

Massive well done S4C. You said it for me!!! The camera work was brilliant - they could give the cameramen at the Royal a few lessons. I'm already bored with Horse & Country. It's repeats all the time. Parelli is just about the last straw. Compare Parelli with the Cossacks at the Royal Welsh, today!!! Now that is what I call skill!!! I pressed the red button to get 'English speaking' but it didn't work. Does it cost extra when you press the red button, do you know? 'Cos I haven't been able to switch it back off. Oh, Hell!! I had to smile when the two commentators were chatting away in their own tongue when suddenly one of them said 'palomino' with a Welsh lilt. They obviously haven't got an equivalent translation.

Glued to the tv again. It's fanastic. The coverage of the riddens this morning has been fantastic!! Especially loved watching Cheshmere (sp) Flashman doing his lap of honour! Lovely pony

Scotland nli
You will not regret the day you decide to come to the RWAS it is like nothing on earth..the atmosphere is second to none, and the four days just isn't long enough to do all that you want to do.
I am a Section A man, but when the welsh cobs come on the atmosphere is just electric and it never fails to give me a cold shiver down my back, and sometimes a tear in my eye just appreciating the sheer elegance and beauty of all these wonderful animals. The support for individuals in the showring is second to none and you really just can't appreciate that from a screen in your front lounge. Please come next year then you will be converted to being a regular goer for life.
You know l was a racing man before l started in Welshies, and l can honestly say that the atmosphere from the Gold Cup at Cheltenham was the only thing to come close to the atmoshpere of RWAS
Even with the weather as it has been this year, we enjoyed it just as much. Not only the horses but the other attractions..some l don't particularly care for, but they are there. The shopping will cost you a fortune, the comradary costs nothing and the new friends you make, make this all a brilliant experience. There is always a good night scene at RWAS and be prepared to be kept awake virtually all night, not unless you like to party of course, certainty you will always find one somewhere.
