Hi Everyone I have just had my HOYS WHP entries returned as I am not a member of the BSPS, even thou I am a member of NPS and PUK, but I am not allowed to compete in the class because i am not a member of the BSPS. I feel that this is unfair PUK and NPS Hoys WHP is open to members and non members and no other qualifier that I can think of is run in this way. I have spoken to both BSPS who were really nice and helpful but couldn't obviously change the rules for me and HOYS who seemed confused and didnt know that it was only open to BSPS members and when I told them that was the rule I was advised to member up which for that one class would cost me around £150?? obviously not viable! Hoys are looking into it and I was told to call back in a couple of days but I wondered if anyone else had an explantion for this HOYS qualifier exclusively open to BSPS members?? thanks ps I know that with all the floods this is not important and this is not a dig at in anyway at BSPS because the ladies in the office were really helpful and nice

I spoke to HOYS and they are looking into it. A few more phonecalls to them might help. I see that they are holding Ridden Hunter qualifers as well - do they need to be members of the BSPS on registered animals.
