Been reminiscing about the years puk would put on a fun fair and how the atmosphere was amazing. Puk used to invest so much more time and money (I appreciate there's a depression) into their championship shows and the turn out and atmosphere really reflected this.
I do hope that puk can be well supported this year and hopefully get back to how it used to be.

I use to love ponies uk when it was at peterborough. The fair and the disco thing they use to put on, all the evening performances in the outdoor main ring! Good memories!

I remember it at Peterborough too, it really was the best of the best, & the atmosphere was second to none with the fun fair being near the evening performance.

There was nothing to touch PUK in those days, the atmosphere, the size of the classes, everything about it - it was fantastic!

Did get a bit boring with 40 odd in your class though lol but it was all worth while when you did well and you felt you'd really achieved something even just to get placed!!

I enjoyed puk as a youngster, and for the past 7 years. Last year and the year before was a real disappointment, in fact last year we just came and did 2 classes, and it was awful. no atmosphere at all, We have never ever missed the puk winter champs until this year, we are doing bsps to try to get a show with the atmosphere again. Come on puk we love you...... lets go back to how it WAS!!!!!! pps we do equifest just because it is at Peterbro and we remember the 'good times'

Totally agree rebel- the sense of pride when you done well in such a large class was amazing! Showing was not about politics back then, the atmosphere was what made it fun! Now showing is less populated and too serious! I'd love to see puk summer this year take the lead in Going back to the old roots.
