GYS did place/pull to 10th in the m&m's this year! Well in the D's anyway, my mare was 8th (joint 7th on marks) and received rosette that said highly commended & a card that said the same. Another 2 were pulled below her too

Recently, in the capacity of a senior steward at a very major HOYS Qualifying show I walked past a wagon ramp. Lying, crushed on the (muddy) ground was a 3rd, a supposedly sought after sponsored rosette. It annoyed me so much that I actually picked this rosette up and hooked it within the lorry confines. I hope it's recipient reads this and is now cringing. Ok - you may not have "Qualified" on that occasion. But a) someone else might have been delighted to have recieved that rosette and b) how on earth can we (as show organisers) persuade kindly people to sponsor - if some of you just grind their paid for rosettes into the dirt?? I'd like to hope it wasn't intentionally on the floor - at Derbyshire County, whilst trying to navigate the suicidal 'horsewalk' back to the lorry after being placed in a RI qualifier, I lost my rosette. I'd hate to think someone thought I had just discarded it but with how awful the horsewalk was, I was not going to retrace my steps to try and find it sadly. Sent from my GT-I9195 using proboards

GYS placed to 6th in Hoys M&Ms this year .. rosettes pretty cheap looking and I don't know why they give out cards as well as they easily get bent whilst holding on lap of honour .. GYS is the most expensive of the Hoys quals and with 40+ competitors in some of the classes, surely they could splash out on another four rosettes per class :/ The prize cards are fab. Slot them under your leather and they stay straight. Love to get a prize card. Especially a RW one!!!! That's how ours got squished, under the leather
