He has been out of work for about 7 weeks as in recovering from an hysterectomy so have not been able to work him any advice greatly. I have some experience of this type of action, as my boy did it when he injured his proximal suspensory ligament. My vet told me at the time that the twist was common in this type of injury and rarely went away even when they recover well. However my boys twist is now barely noticeable, as he has become sounder. I am now bringing him back into work and about to send him to do some work on a water treadmill to slim him down and build up his strength and muscle tone, hoping that this may help him further. I really hope it isn't this injury, even though it all sounds so similar symptom wise. The best person to advise ultimately is your vet, but this is just my own personal experience. Good luck and I hope it gets sorted for you.
