I am putting some new lights in my outdoor arena and was wondering if people went for a soft white light or the bright white light
What do people think

You had best check first that you don't need planning permission for lights, around here you do!!

I use street lamp bulbs, they're low energy and not a bright light but enough to school in.

Are you intending to change the whole light fitting or just new lamps? LED are great due to the low energy consumption and ability to generate a very clean bright light however the disadvantage is that they do not pool light around an area very well unlike traditional lamps, if you are intending to just change the lamps you may need to be careful about this as the light spread will be significantly reduced compared to a traditional lamp. but if changing the whole fitting it will prob have a well designed reflector already incorporated so wouldn't be a problem.
