That is probably Why they had him slightly unfit. Some ponies do get sharper and shy etc. I knew one top class and he was only ridden twice a week!

Must admit I always kept my stallion on the underside of fit, you'd be working him for hours otherwise.

Must admit I always kept my stallion on the underside of fit, you'd be working him for hours otherwise. My mare is super fit and doesn't change in anyway at all. I think each pony is different. If he is only flat showing he doesn't have to be ultra fit.

Must admit I always kept my stallion on the underside of fit, you'd be working him for hours otherwise. Our stallion gets sillier the fitter he is, it's a fine line with some and as titch says each pony is different x

If he only does it in the school could it be he that now he has been hunting he finds schooling and flatwork boring ? What is he like if you vary his work , could you school on hacks ? Or perhaps do stuff in the school to make it more interesting like trotting poles . Has everything been checked to make sure there is no pain issues ?
