Anyone know of anywhere that does a bespoke showing waistcoat? I'd like to choose fabrics, lining, buttons etc. I know I could go to Mears, Alexander James etc but was wondering if there might be a more economical option out there. Any suggestions appreciated Yes there is an alternative, one that I took years ago - buy yourself a waistcoat pattern and make one yourself - they are not difficult to make and you can find the material and linings of your choice that are not prohibitively expensive. If you can't sew/don't have a machine, have you got a friend who will make one for you? John Lewis used to do a good range of patterns. Good luck

Designer browbands were selling a variety of tweed fabrics recently - could be worth enquiring there if you're making/having one made...

Thanks you two, any other suggestions? Other than ordering from a tailoring company or having a friend-with-sewing-machine/seamstress make one for you, I don't think there are any other options for a bespoke waistcoat
How much £ do you want to spend?
Do you have your own cloth?

What i would like, is a sleevless show jacket! A waistcoat that is then longer in length for showing inhand.
