Hi! I was wondering if anyone new how to find out about your horses ancestors? I'm just curious really, it would be nice to know where she came from! If it helps, she is a 14.1 welsh section C x D, bay, 8 years old. Thanks!

Start with the passport. By the sound of it she should have a green WPCS one, which will have her breeder's details and her pedigree in it. At 14.1hh she is a D, the height limit for Sec C is 13.2hh - they can be moved from one to the other according to height as the gene pool and breed description is the same for both.

Useful and easy to search but not necessarily accurate. The WPCS website also has a search facility which is accurate but not currently as flexible.
