Im looking to buy a new tweed, I need larger size - depending on fit need 44-46. I ride a Coloured cob, so looking for something simple - no loud checks or velvet colours.

I think, particularly if you are not an "off the shelf" shape, it is better to spend the money to get one that fits you properly and doesn't gape in all the wrong places I visited Le Beau Cheval to get measured for my last jacket and it was worth the trip from Scotland

I would second Le Beau Cheval, I'm not a skinny minnie & they took my measurements over the phone...it arrived and fitted perfectly. Off the peg wise I have a Mears Tweed and that is a pretty good fit.

I would be inclined to agree with everyone else, save up and get made to measure, it will look so much better. I got mine m2m from Mrs Candy about 2/3 years ago

Fuller Fillies have one or two tweeds and do your size.
I had a quote of £275 from one of the show wear companies for a plus size single breasted WAISTCOAT which included a 'plus size' surcharge. Perhaps they only want skinny people wearing their stuff?!
