So pleased that Seib have kicked the cheats out and given genuine people the tickets they deserve. Some people will go to such lengths to get to hoys. Now let's leave the competiton open to the ones that are eligible. If you're horse is good enough to go it will get an open ticket if not, then maybe it's just not meant to be.

Qualifiers are listed on SFAS site, noticed one category had 1st 3 places noted, maybe one of them couldn't produce the right documents? Aah well, all will presumably be clear after the event.

No idea who you are talking about but if they have qualified after March 1st of present year that's allowed. As it's the same year and who knows what can happen in a season. The rules are very straight forward and are available for all to see. Why can't we all just be happy for everyone else's achievements?

Horse not to have, unless after it qual SFAS n definate that both can't have competed at HOYS .... But some people just love to sit n stir.... Green eyes comes to mind Good luck and enjoy the whole experience ... We did )

I do think with this thread do people not have much to do in life to go through and check who qualified against who turned up? Who got disqualified etc
If they got disqualified because they where not eligible big deal shouldnt you say well done SEIB for catching them out and making sure the eligible combinations got through

I think it's dreadful that seib have to catch people out, why can't people just be honest? The other problem is Seib make one rule for some and a different one for others! I also think the classes should be judged by different judges at each class, not a mix and match set of the same, stewards who judge and judges that steward! Give everyone a chance!

I agree regarding being caught out , but really??? Do people not know the rules? If not ., check BEFORE entering !! We are gutted we cannot take our sp who has been totally hp all her life, BUT because we have had some success with a previous pony are not eligible to compete ....C'est la vie I guess.....

The whole series is a joke..we was disqualified last year after someone sent an EMAIL of us hacking a friends horse with them and said we produced for a living.. they also set up a fake facebook page trying to frame us.. we had statements from our vet, farriers p60 from our actual employers who are nothing to do with the equine sector etc stating we did not produce for a living.. our horses are kept at home have never been even to a lesson with anyone yet we still could not get it over turned as they point blank refused.. yet they would not remove our qualifiying story from their website despite us asking them to.. one rule for one...

Neither of the hunter winners from Vale View were disqualified. One of the cobs from Bury Farm did not present for the final and was not listed in the catalogue.
