I have a dark bay small hack to also hopefully do the IRST classes too and a medium bay Large Hack too.
But what saddles do you think are best for jockey and Judges? Leather or Suede?
Any help would be most appreciated!
Thank you!

I don't think it matters whether the saddle is suede or leather, what suits the horse best but most important is the fit and making sure stirrup irons are large enough for the ride judge

I agree it's what suits you and the horse but obviously has to be big enough to carry a judge.
I've tried a few but I have a Black Country and its lovely to ride in

We have a Black Country and had a few judges comment on how lovely it was to ride in a comfy saddle so it does get noticed.

Thank you, can I asked which models of Black Country you recommend trying?
I understand that most importantly it must fit the horse but I've always had fylde saddles and show ponies, I have also had them flocked to make sure they fit. And not sure a Fylde Samantha would be ok for a ride judge even though it fits my horse lovely. I was just interested in what people suggested to use in the ring for a ride judge to also be comfortable in. Thank you everyone for your replies, I really appreciate it!
