I have an old mare, 25, what would be the best feed for her? She is currently on Alfa a and a mix but I want to keep weight on over winter. She has cushings but us not on any medication as she is OK without, as the vet said. She has a vet check again on Friday this week. Any suggestions before I go the feed shop?
Thanks ☺️

Allen and Page do a high fibre that you soak and it's ready in 5 minutes. It is suitable for laminitics , can't remember what it's called. The bag is brown with black writing.

Why not ask your vet if she's seeing him/her anyway?

Fast fibre is suitable for ponies prone to laminitis and they also do Veteran vitality which you also need to soak, it takes about 5 minutes I think.
Fast fibre literally takes minute to soak.
