Hello,
My 16.2 warmblood has just come home off loan and he is in a poor state. He was diagnosed with Ulcers whilst out on loan and has been treated and his last scope showed great improvement.
I am feeding him on Alpha A Oil, Saracen Releve and Equijewel with a gut balancer, with ad lib hay I am just wondering if anyone has any advice on what else i can give him just to get some weight back on him
Many Thanks

I'd be looking at something with probiotics in it. I feed keyflow feeds which has probiotics in.
Live yoghurt is also very good for getting his tummy back in order.
Hope it all goes well.

Have a look at Simple System website. They have fantastic feeds to treat ulcers and have great Helpline advice,

Many years ago Bristol University did some research into this with the intention of developing a range of feeds for horses with this problem. I suggest you contact them. Like humans though, feed little and often, big feeds are more likely to promote excess acid.

My horse who has suffered with ulcers is fed Alfa oil and saracen shape up. I don't dampen the feed and she gets a scoop of alfa before she is ridden as well. This seems to work for us. I did read somewhere (though I can't remember where - possibly Kentucky research) that dry feed was better than damp, and we have found it has helped our mare.
