Roma - why dont you tell us which results you are referring to ??
If you are referring to any of my results, then I certainly dont know the judge. As far as I remember I have not even been judged by him before or spoken a word to him before yesterday !!

Lexy, I don't think the person could even begin to justify the comment........really like your yearling filly by the way, she was the best in-hand exhibit I saw on the day!!

Lexy, how did you get on with your lovely big dun?

Denis - thank you !!! She is really coming on so much at the moment, and just LOVES to go out to party. Takes after her daddy apparently, the bigger the show the better. Samantha - my lovely big dun (Rainstown Ross) had a rather rushed preparation for class (I came out of in hand class, got changed at 100mph while friend tacked him up and we went straight in ring !!) but he was very good boy despite no warm up and was placed 4th. The judge seemed to really enjoy riding him and appreciated a well schooled horse, who is also completely tractor proof too (there were large tractors going past the ring as she got on him). Lexy.

For those who might not know, Sal is the breeder of my little filly Amilas Cassiopeia (just "got" the prefix Sal !!). She is by her stud stallion Sunwillow Jubilee (aka Squid) and ex Marsh Coral. Squid has himself been doing very well in the ring this year both in hand and ridden. As far as I am concerned, it is the breeders that deserve most of the credit for any in hand successes - so Sal & Sarah in the case of our lot at Surrey Co. I just get the ponies ready and run around the ring, my bit is easy This was only her 4th show ever, and she has never been lower than 3rd and in some good strong classes too. Fingers crossed she can keep it up ...... she is a pleasure to own and to show. Lexy
