Wonder if someone can clear some confusion up for me.. Grey Cob that won the Novice Cob class - this has been out at the county shows this year doing the open classes with the boy with brown boots on - was this eligable ?
Also saw it in the Pollyanna Home Produced class where it came 2nd - this cob has been competed by an instructor on behalf of the owner so is it eligable for home produced ?

if its the one im thinking of im not sure its been doing county stuff? only ever known the one in my mind to do local and possibly puk..maybe different horse though, also we compete in novice and open classes, which as far as i know is ok unless you have denoviced yourself! also...as far as i know it is home produced, so does it make a difference if someone else has previously competed it for them??

It was at Leicester County in May and it has been ridden this year for them by the lady who I believe is their Instructor. Im just wondering if this affects the ability to do home produced as Imnot fully up on the rules for PUK. I know under BSHA it is not eligable.
Im not bothered it was just that I heard rumblings at the side of the ring about it yesterday, and it made me curious.

well on a non personal basis i'd like to know the full rules on this...if she is not riding it in home produced classes would it be ok? too many rules to remember!! does she just ride for them, or does she produce it for example, is there financial gain?? most of all does it really matter?!

There are far too many rules to remember nativeponies ;D
Im not 100% sure but Im almost sure that the rider is paid to ride it at shows - so yes financial gain is involved.
Like I said it just made me curious because of what I overheard yesterday.
To me it doesn't matter but if the cob went to the finals and was not eligable to be there, there is always someone that might pick up on it !
