I thought the ridden classes and some of the inhand classes were poorly supported!
Who went supreme?

Not sure about the supreme, we left for home, found theres not much point taking a B into the overall champs, rarely get a look in!!!
there was 5 in our ridden open B's, 1 in the A's i think 3 in the C's and about 4 in the D's.

I watched the first classes which i think were novice classes and they seemed very small, same as the welsh D inhand classes.
Who was the photographer?

In the barren mare & gelding class we waited 20 minutes for a pony to turn up after several calls and then it won, it didnt trot one step!! The res youngstock then stood res overall B. the pony that beat it in the youngstock was forward so how/ why did it beat it?!!?

Thanks Lexy
I keep getting all the credit though - all the Digswell ponies are owned by Louise and myself and once again were shown beautifully for us by Jason and Tara.
Huge congratulations on an amazing week with Leo - can't wait to see the foal our dun mare has by him next year!

My boys had a good dfay, Thorndon Park Jet won the open D's and Waxwing Ragtime won the open C's
C youngstock & overall champion was the 3 yr old colt Tyngwydn George ( i think)
Supreme ridden and mini champion was Waxwing Pastille

Blacknight - that is a good day out !! Well done Ailsa (and Louise) - sorry I thought the Digswell ponies just belonged to Ailsa (isnt that H&H said ??). And yes, you better look after that mare with her precious cargo. We all always had faith that Leo would be a superstar ... but better stop now as going off topic of thread. Lexy.

Well done everyone on your results. Also I think a mention should go to the show organisers, we thought it was a lovely show, stunning showground and really well ran - so thank you to all involved!
Lexy - yes H&H did miss out Louise and also Jason & Tara for showing them, guess thats what happen when you only get a sentence!

I have to agree with Ailsa - an excellent show very well run.
What a spectacle the driving clases were, especially the Light Trade. Better than most county shows. The organisers did a fantastic job of seperating the in hand and the ridden from the drivers by giving the drivers a different route to the showground so there were no frightened ponies en route to the ring - excellent.
