Thank goodness a less facey pony won today. The Olympia and HOYS classes were starting to get extremely boring. Well done Tweetie Nimmo for pulling some slightly lesser known ponies. There are so many good new animals out there who aren't being given a chance because they are not ridden by a "who's who" jockey and this was obvious at South of England yesterday when only the local competitors and nPS faces got a look in. Please judges be brave and look at the ponies not the rider or who comes into the ring to groom. Make the competition more interesting and give credit where it is due. We need to encourage people to show, not give up. Lanark, I do not know what you are trying to say, the Shetland that won the Olympia at Nps 24 also won the Hoys at South of England, it is also a well shown pony who has been to Hoys and Olympia last year, so hardly a lesser known novice pony. So was its win at south of england because it was ridden by a who whos jockey/ southern/ nps face, but at nps 24 it was a complete new novice face, I am very confused by you jealous comments, the pony went will both days the same and ridden by the same jockey. Why did you feel all the Hoys winners should not have won at south of england?

Was lovely day in new forest, only went to watch then MnM inhand. Loved the highland that was Youngstock champ. Glad it went on to get silver Medal. Any in-hand results - particularly M&Ms? Which highland was silver medal champ?

Well done, if your hipo is the same as i think i saw at B&W then she is stunning Although very confused, as i thought Balleroy Minstrel won the silver medal at this show (as per owners post on HH - perhaps she meant a different show )

A bit confused that highland Balleroy Minstrel claims they got the NPS Silver Medal on other websites when clearly Hannahh won it with her highland Nashend Lady ribble. Surely there's only one NPS Silver medal champion in the in hand section? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Surely there's only one NPS Silver medal champion in the in hand section? Correct me if I'm wrong. The other claim was Balleroy Minstrel owned by Talisker stud. Is it a case of one won it but wasnt awarded as no NPS card in ring so passed down ?? in which case they both theoretically "won" it but the actual qualification was passed down to 2nd/reserve?

im sure that balleroy minstrel qualified but not at this show my highland won the 3 and under class but the 4 yr and over was won by a conni !! i cant remember seeing the balleroy pony there as im sure hes a stallion. the judge did not pull a reserve in the silver medal as he asked all competitors if they had there card then just pulled the highland. im sure its a mix up of shows.

Absolutely brilliant! Dryknowl Ennar picks up his Olympia ticket at Wessex NPS. Most would be satisfied at winning the in hand mare or gelding class at one of the country's biggest Shows, the South of England (2days ago) but no, on the following day again at South of England, Elizabeth Evans gave the pony an imperious ride to collect a HOYS ticket and then today Sunday, off to Wessex NPS in the New Forest to collect his Olympia ticket from judge Mrs Nimmo. Owners Peter & Leonie Sellars will be delighted. Lynda, congratulations, you should have next year 'off' as well! Why can't people be genuinely delighted rather than constantly spiteful. The pony lives close to Ardingly so a couple of trips were no more than average pe-show exercise and the trip to the New Forest is a motorway run. The weather has been sunny but with a cool breeze and this pony looks extremely fit. More people have travelled their ponies further and already this season have competed at two shows in one day. Ernie has his tickets and can now be selectively shown. Don't be jealous, try to enjoy the success of others. Are you insane, WHITE KNIGHT?! Your negative way of thinking stinks!
