Thanks Sal ... but you have not heard the rest of it yet !! (I wondered why you were not replying to my texts!) My yearling filly Amilas Cassiopeia (bred by Sal) full results: 1st A yearlings (qualified for Equifest in hand champs) A Youngstock Champion 1st NPS Home produced in hand - small breeds (qualified for NPS home produced final) Champion home produced in hand She was a little super star and still just as bright as a button in the home produced championship at 6pm as she was in first class at 10am! I have come home with an armful of rosettes and a trophy to be posted on as well. The home produced was judged by Richard Miller (Heniarth) who bred her grandsire (Heniarth Quip). And apparently he told Sal not to sell her when he saw pics of her as a foal ..... good thing for me she didnt listen to him !! In other results, the A championship was won by the stallion - Sedgwick Conquest. With one of the mares in Res, but cant remember if brood or barren mare (both white grey!). The overall in-hand championship was won by a very nice part-bred (pretty bay, dont know its name) and think the A stallion was Res. Its a change from it being a cob overall in hand champion at that show anyway! Nebo Herbert looked really good, and went very well too, he caught me eye just walking across lorry park before I knew what he was and equally impressed when watched him in the ring too. Lexy P.S. blacknight - it is spelt with an e not a y !! Dandelion

I'd just like to say, on behalf of the SEWPCA committee, a very big thank you to all our competitors (of which there were legion) for their patience whilst the injured rider was attended to and due to the air ambulance the whole showground had to grind to a halt, this after an already late start after one accident after another for people coming up the M26 and clockwise on the M25. The kind words and many thank yous we received from competitors means an awful lot to us. A very big well done to all of you who did so well. The Welsh part-bred that went supreme in hand was Fielden Cottontail - well done Jan and the Fielden Stud team!! Amanda. Vice-Chair.
