HOYS coloured results Non native Horse - Electric Storm Non Native Pony - Southfarm chipmunk Native pony - Sarah Ambler no idea what its called ? Native Horse - Jasper Bailey Judging seemed a little strange with some surprises in the final line ups. Was it just me or does any one else think the same ? Do you mean in the coloured classes or all of them?? Definately some suprises in the classes I saw. Not sure of many results, remember RIHS 122 SHP winner was Caradines M'Lord, who also won the Restricted 122 SHP, Rodham Sir Thomas won the Open 122 SHP. I heard Millpond look @ Me won the NONNATIVE PONY class???

Hi Coloured/DOH, What exactly did you find strange about the judging? I wasnt there so couldnt comment, a friend mentioned it was a bit 'out', but looking at the winners (well 3 of them) very consistent winners.

Supreme of Show was: Rosemach Hemlock
Yes - I saw the Intermediate - a really nasty incident. I actually think it tied up in the ring and wasn't helped by the steward trying to pull it forward - Jess was really lucky to walk away from that one. Hope you fell better soon Jess - and that both you and the horse are ok

Hi Question No I do not know the pony (Hemlock) or the family. Was at the show as a spectator - no ponies at the show. I have never seen this Sec A before, not one from my area, he went beautifully in all of his finals and obviously pleased all of his judges. Had no idea he had previously qualified HOYS or Olympia. The Olympia Champion Stowbrook Jenny wren was also out in the novice first ridden finishing second to Hemlock. Why is jenny wren being brought into this? She is a true novice 1st ridden, being her 1st season in this class and she has never been ridden in the ring by a child.

Ponygirl I think it tied up too. It was just stood there looking at the riders foot and then twisted upwards! Really nasty and VERY scary. I hope the girl was OK.

i think the girl was fine. its a shame about the evening proformances there wasnt really any atmosphere but the rest of the show was brilliant and it is fantastic for getting into the evening pros. does anyone know what the placings were for the restricted highlands, fells, dales, sec Ds as i forgot to watch that class but wanted to. ..??

i agree there wasn't much of a atmosphere in the evening performance the music wasn't very good, the music didn't even come on until a fair way in2 the evening ... and still wasn't very loud . and the decoration was poor ... a few flowers dotted in the middle.. seeing as everyone works so hard and its such a great achievement to get in2 the evening performance i feel bsps cud of made a bit more of a effort with music decoration and spot lights to give it some more atmosphere.

yes I also think the judging in the hoys coloured classes was odd, apart from jasper bailey winning the native horse, the rest of the judging was definitely backwards! What are they looking for?Has anyone seen that lovely small native pony with the long mane that goes quite nice, just won't seem to stand still for the ride judge to look at, one to watch?

Have any of you ever thought as your writing your comments about what ponies didn't deserve to win, etc that very elated people who have put alot of time, effort and money into producing their ponies could be reading your sometimes hurtful and malicious messages about them not deserving to win? I watched the evening performance yesterday and all the ponies were off a very high standard, the majority making impeccable representations of themselves and not one of them would have not deserved to win. Showing is at the end of the day the judges opinion, if you disagree bite your tongue and talk about where it is not going to be read by people on a high and spoil their win. Everyone deserves success and nobody deserves to have their success destroyed by narrow minded petty individuals who are at the end of the day just jealous or have a bad case of sour grapes.

is lemonshill firebird with a producer now! they must not of had him long as i seen him on horsequest! lovely pony! I think that I read on another forum that the BSPS Winter Championship show was Chloe Chubb's last show with him as he has been sold to a family in Bristol. How nice that Chloe could finish on a winning note with a lovely pony.

If you read my comment properly i commented on the coloured hoys qualifier and not the evening performance as I wasn't even there when the evening performance was on. I am not narrow minded or jeleous in any way. Where you actually watching the hoys coloured qualifier? if not why make a comment like you made about something totally different with which I was talking about?

2nd Cherrington Spotlight Blimey is that still going? Who has it now? Toby is still on the circuit, owned by the Jarrom's, ridden by Gorgie Harwood/Samantha Jarrom.
