wasnt very big classes in the m&m ridden only 14 in the c's and not much more in any of the others the smallest classes i have seen there in years Perhaps the very hot weather put people off.

Alex Kelly won the nf/conn class on her bay connie, one of the harrison girls won the smalls on a bay dartie. C winner was Lychfields Scrumpy Jack, Chesmere Flashman took the ticket in 2nd. Sec B champion, dartie reserve and res res was judge.

It wasn't horrendous heat wise, as there was quite a breeze whilst the m&ms were in- they all seemed to cope perfectly well.
Some more results:

Cs 1st Lychfield Scrumpy Jack 2nd Cheshmere Flashman (took qualifier)

First of all well done to Costone Cayti for getting through to HOYS. A tremendous achievement and well deserved for everyone concerned. I think a lot of partying will be going on!!!!
Also, my section B stallion, Meadowlands Mooncatcher, was 2nd today in the B in-hand class. He was beaten by a lovely Brookhall mare and foal who is doing exceptionally well in the showring this year. Apparently he was well behaved and went really well so you can't ask for more! Well done to Pauline and Maurice and also to Karen from the Harwel Stud who is showing him for them.

Photographer at Norfolk was equinational. Had a wonderful day showing 2 ponies for Colliyers stud, their welsh A Colliyers Good as Gold was 2nd, and Section B stallion Meadowland Mooncatcher was 2nd in the 4 yrs and over Section B class. We also took our home bred shetland mare, the last standard we bred, she won her class and went overall shetland champion and reserve overall non welsh champion. We also took our coloured shetland whom we have just starting showing and he was 4th which we are really pleased with. It was hot at Norfolk today but bearable as there was a slight breeze in places.

Well done Terry & Flash !!
Welsh classes poorly supported in numbers, only 10 D's forward but the non welsh in the other ring had great numbers turn up.
Weather was really nice, a good breeze all day and ponies didnt even sweat. I would be VERY interested to see the sec C marks if anyone has them, thanks

i meant to add on end of previous post that a mistake was made when ponies were called forward for h/f/d results. rhinns point fergus was actually 4th. they called the wrong number forward for 4th place so fergus never got placed in the ring. however the office noted the mistake and fergus received his 4th place rossette from the office. sorry to the people who took 4th place in the ring or to whoever the mistake affects.

Who was that Blacknight! We got our letter from HOYS yesterday with a different ponies name on it a slightly worrying half hour followed despite the fact that I had checked the marks myself before going home from our qualifier as I was caught out once before with a wrong result which is a heartbreaking thing to happen.

blackknight-- That really made me smile, that they called out a pony that wasn't even there. What confidence does that give one..

i was really really disappointed, my lad went one of the best in the C class and only got 36 for ride - im very puzzled by a mark like that. Normally its his ride that brings him up. Anyone have the full mark sheet please?
