Lovely show as always at Somerford park for 2a Chaeshire, what a pity that NCPA Maelor went on the same day, cant you shows get together and when you decide a date stick to it and not change your minds especially in these challenging times.

Totally agree as such a shame 2A so poorly attended. Must have made huge loss. Not sure if many at NCPA?

without wanting to open a can of worms, the committe at 2A do try as best we can not to clash with any shows within a large area, but with not many dates left we had no choice but to hold our show on the day we did, i am sure everyone who came had a great day, as for making a huge loss, who knows! at the end of the day its not really about making money, we run our shows for our members and without their support we wouldnt have an area.

Was not being critical of 2A thought it was lovely show nicely set out safe for all competing showground wonderful as always good judging classes running on time nice refreshments etc etc, just thought it was a shame for 2A not more attended.

Totally agree as such a shame 2A so poorly attended. Must have made huge loss. Not sure if many at NCPA? UK Showing Premier Champs @ Bold Heath, Cheshire was busting to the seams all weekend so perhaps that accounts for it? We were sorry not to be able to attend 2A summer show ... 2A committee/shows/organisation is fabulous (sadly we are in 2b due to logistics) but daughter had qualified both her ponies and wanted to compete @ Bold Heath as there was an evening performance and that's like a bucketful of sweeties to a young rider!

A lovely well run show on a fabulous showground. The whp training classes were a great idea! Thanks to all concerned. NCPA Maelor was, in the past, run in early August so never had the problems with clashing with 2A as they seem to now. I think the 2A show has always been the 2nd weekend in July....Even if one could run on a Saturday and one on the Sunday that should help - though I suppose a Friday "set up" is hard as most of the show organisers also work! A particular mention should be made to judges Pam Prickett and Sharon Thomas who showed unlimited patience and encouragement to all the younger and novice rider's in their whp classes.

I think U.K Showing were the problem, rather than NCPA Maelor.
