congratulations to the people who run the horse and pony side to this show, but just one gripe, the turnout of a couple of the judges left a lot to be desired its a shame when all the organisers and stewards and competitors make an effort. i must say the older judges looked immaculate i think the younger newer judges should follow their example.
that said fantastic show.

Couldn't agree more - wasn't going to wait with he highland stallion in the collecting ring - it was far too dangerous, we cheated and waited near the trade stands. Please Please a bigger collecting ring and a wider horse walk. Fabulous show and very well organised, thoroughly enjoyed the day and spent a fortune!!

Why the bungee jumping and fun fair next to the pony ring? ? As said before shows have to put on such things, to get public in, but common sense should engage a little. Moan over! Elf had good day, 2nd nov sp.

We are often in collecting rings, quite small sometimes with more than one highland stallion in the collecting ring and we have not as yet had any problems.

We are often in collecting rings, quite small sometimes with more than one highland stallion in the collecting ring and we have not as yet had any problems. At the time in question there was probably 30-40 ponies in a tiny area, prob 15m x 15m inc LR ponies. As nice natured as the stallion is, putting him that situation is extremely dangerous. Not so much for what he might do - but children on tiny ponies running in to him, unaware that he is a stallion can be potentially dangerous. Fortunately I have never had any problems with my boys as I am extremely careful not to put them in difficult situations. Its just an observation and can be easily rectified for next year.

Definately agree horse walk far too narrow for two way traffic especially if caught near a horse / pony misbehaving as no where to escape with the metal railings - wasnt the best place for an ice cream van either to be placed at the end of the horsewalk for the more nervous ponies/ horses just before the main ring but lovely show

The ice cream van was parked where the farrier should have been, he was a pain parked there, got our 2yo filly really wound up as she was going to the ring.
