Why is it that some people leave the ring in strop if they get a lower pull than they think they deserve? Exceptionally bad manners. Anyway you've paid your entry and even if the judge doesn't like your pony you might as well use it as a schooling exercise. (and try to prove how wrong they were pulling you in so low!)

I think this is a case of very bad manners, and it is down to the judge / steward to take the competitors number and report them to the show.
Having said that, I do think it is bad manners, however I have done it once! it was boiling hot, I was showing inhand and was pulled in near the bottom out of about 20 odd horses, and I was in a ridden class straight after. I explaind to the steward that I was in a ridden class and so could I leave. I didnt just walk out the class.
