There were sashes, we had to collect them later as they didn't want them getting wet in the rain....My daughter was Reserve Supreme of Day on the Dartmoor. What a day, very wet and cold but couldn't be happier...she is only six with a very rare liver disease and wan't feeling too good but it was only the second time she had been in a night performance and she wanted to do it, and I am really proud of her... I agree, great organisation from FOC, first time we have been...just a shame about the weather..... Aw well done! You have a lovely pony and little girl, I saw her coming out of the ring and she looked thrilled We popped up to watch for the evening on sunday, I did feel for you guys, it was so cold and wet

I went on saturday and enjoyed myself. One thing i didnt like in the evening on saturday night was the male judge running his hands down the ponies front legs and down the hocks. I thought Judges wernt allowed to touch the ponies?

in reply to Grogan show team, some of the judges were not even panel judges, just riding club judges. He obviously showed his lack of professionalism. Who ever he was!

Hi Philippa, were you the conformation judge in the Welsh Ring? If you were I would just like to say thank you for the lovely comments you made about my pony in the C&D class. I am much less likely to give up showing as a bad job now ;D

Hi Rosse yes I was. Showing is so hit and miss and what one judge likes another won't. Don't give up, just keep trying. There were some fabulous ponies there and a great turnout despite the weather. They were strong classes to judge but very enjoyable. I prefer to see the positives for people to work on. Good luck in the future.

I watched you in the evening and thought you really deserved it, your pony is lovely. I heard your daughter shout "Dont start without us!" to the judges before the supreme or show I thought you and Captain Pugwash had champ and res x
