They pulled the front off my new lorry pulling it out of the mud - and by golly was there some mud but this was made up for by qualifying for NPS Open FR for 2010!! There were some amazing veterans - the best lot of qualifiers I have seen this year. The show organisers had made a collecting area for each ring which was a brilliant idea. This show is definately improving - and they couldn't help the weather the day before!

We left before competing (and weren't the only ones!) The ground in the far rings was horrendous even for the first classes. For big horses (I accept ponies and lighter horses would have been OK -perhaps) it just wasn't safe. They were going in 6" and water flying all over the place. Always another day, if you have a sound horse, too late if you pull a tendon on bottomless wet going. Shame as it looked to be a lovely show
