what was the standard like were any of the top ponies there as lots of olympia quality ponies seemed to be at the Scottish like CH Raven, Lydvale Jacob etc.

what was the standard like were any of the top ponies there as lots of olympia quality ponies seemed to be at the Scottish like CH Raven, Lydvale Jacob etc. There were 22 ponies forward in the class and plenty of them were of a suitable quality to qualify for Olympia, eg those already mentioned by dukeyboy and also Murthwaite Mulan, Underwoods Jackdaw, etc. If you're comment is meant to be a not a very subtle dig - IMO the pony that won deserved to win, the Olympia class was fairly judged and I can say that having had one in the class who was unplaced and deservedly so.
