Was at the Scottish Horse Show over the weekend and heard that the Champion Ridden Hunter and supreme overall from Turriff show has been stripped of its winnings due to the judge being the ladies instructor and regular rider of her horse and loads of complaints recieved, has anyone else heard if this is true or not?? Can't get in touch with anyone from Turriff to find out as would like to know where my horse stands if this were true??

really?? hadnt heard that but if its true its the same person who was stripped of their hoys ticket at the highland for their hairy coloured - no hoys number and not member!!! 2 different horses and 2 counts of cheating - that would be silly!

Have had it confirmed that the judge is indeed her instructor and she was quoted as once saying that she owes her horses success to him(the judge) which seems a bit unfair to everyone involved in the class and I would have thought under circumstances like this the judge would have called in another fellow judge to "judge" the class she was in and the Hunter Championship??

or like the rest of us - you just dont enter a class where you have connections with the judge!
