Knockanroe Champ and Oli Burchell have got the Olympia!!! Very strong championship with some lovely ponies. Apparantly the pony did the most amazing show, wish I could have been there to see it. Well done to all at Rowfantina....Mandy, Oli and the guys behind the scenes. Especially to Jo and Rosie!!!!

Well done to Oli and co. Lovely to see him at Olympia especially as I brought the pony over from Ireland as a 4 year old. I knew he could do it. Well done to Rosie and Jo. We will be supporting you at Olympia.

Do not know the name of the pony, but a Standard black Shetland won the HOYS F/R class, though the general feeling around the ringside was the pony was reluctant to canter, rather poking its nose and on the forehand. While ponies with equally marked conformation, but who gave better shows were harshly marked

Other olympia section winners were:
Cottrell Ameretto Colliery Charm Pumphill Bennett? (Jack Starkie) Not sure on Ds
For what its worth I thought the first ridden shetland was a lovely pony and gave a nice 'first ridden' type show. Yes it was a bit behind the leg but so were a number of others with a high pull in, and it looked safe and looked to have good conformation. I am not well up on this class as have no connections with it but just as an outsider looking in I thought it on balance probably was a rightful winner, though I would not have been surprised if one or two others hadn't won it either.

Twyford Taylormade was supreme and Knockanroe Champ was reserve. Excellent! ;D Both produced by Oliver Burchell Small! (Tailor was backed and started by him)

While ponies with equally marked conformation, but who gave better shows were harshly marked We were one of the ponies that were harshley marked got a lower mark than the palamino that would not even do a show, the problem seems to be with the two judge system, that if one judge likes your pony, the other gives a very bad mark, if they don't want your pony in the line up!
