Sunglow Lady Paula will get her ticket at Area 14 with Jackie Webb Why??? - how do you know she's even going or even competing in Olympia classes this year??? Just because the pony qualified at Area 14 a couple of years ago under a completely different judge doesn't mean that they will again Do think it will be an interesting qualifier

Sunglow Lady Paula will get her ticket at Area 14 with Jackie Webb Nothing wrong with predicting, but I hope you are wrong for no other reason than the classes will hopefully be judged on the day according to how the ponies go.

Sunglow Lady Paula will get her ticket at Area 14 with Jackie Webb A guest with a prediction or someone trying to cause trouble??? I don't think that you will find Sunglow Lady Paula doing any Olympia or HOYS qualifiers. As the pony gets so upset on the big occasions i believe her owners have made the very sensible & admirable decision not to try & qualify. Good on em! Jackie Webb may well be full of surprises......................

Someone trying to cause trouble again. We had all of this about area 14 on another thread, it is getting boring now.

I have found Jackie Webb to be really fair & knows her breed types too. Never seen or heard of her being facey!

JW put Brungrange Stephnie of the lovely Hird family through to Olympia last year and they were deinfately the worthy winners on the day. Hardly facey.

Where is Area 14 please? I'm from the frozen north, and no good with numbered areas.

Are we going to see a lot of grey Welsh A's out this season with dyed black manes? From pictures in H&H it looks to be the latest fashion Will the be penalised as for using makeup? The ponies that are doing it look good enough to win whatever their true colour. Seen a chesnut roan whose mane and tail had been helped to red up and several bleached flaxens. this is getting daft

I have to defend Jackie Webb to the end. We had never showed under her until Newbury last year, we had no expectations and went because it was our last outing before HOYS. I know we qualified but nobody was more surprised then us. Jackie Webb did not know us from Adam, she was thorough, she had lost of good ponies to choose between and is definitely not facey. No, we will not be going under her at Area 14, i would not expect lightening to strike twice but for goodness sake stop predicting, nobody would have predicted us to go to last year and we did

gu I have found Jackie Webb to be really fair & knows her breed types too. Never seen or heard of her being facey! I agree, she has always judged the best pony on the day when I have been judged by her. Good luck to you all! I would love to see P the Judge get his ticket this year, on his day he is poetry in motion, he would be my dream ride. The hirds pony is lovely and they are such ambassadors for showing.

Why is there always someone needing to have a sarcastic comment if anyone remotely praises another pony. I think anyone who qualfier deserves a well done and how I wish it was me. People will stop giving opinion if they are instanltly shot down with sarcastic comments

Do you know what, if people take a ribbing on this forum for qualifying or having a nice pony its only jealousy, I hope we do well this year and if slated on HG I will know that weve made it at last lol

I too would feel i had truly "made it" if i got a slagging on horsegossip Actually guys, from someone that knows, you will feel totally S--T! If you are human then it is only natural to be upset when people are unkind about you & your ponies. Whats worse is when you do well & get in the lorry & say to your travelling companions "wonder what they will write about me now?" and then not dare log on for fear that some nasty half wit will burst your bubble. The sad thing is though that when you don't bite when people write the truth, they make it up! How sad some must be

That's funny Enthusiasts - that is exactly what I was going to post!
A friend who recently qualified for a major championship told me that the first thing that went through her mind when she won was "oh no, what is everyone going to say about me on Horsegossip". That's really sad and takes away from your achievement - you first thought should be "Wipeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!"

I too would feel i had truly "made it" if i got a slagging on horsegossip Actually guys, from someone that knows, you will feel totally S--T! I had the anonomous speculation spread about me before this discussion board separated from the monty roberts forum. For me I felt like I must've "made it" - knowing the comments were completely untrue helped. Ofcourse at first I was slightly hurt, but the comments were so way off that it amazed that anyone would believe them. You also find out who your friends are, and realise that many of the things posted on here must be rubbish if you know what was posted about you was untrue.

I agree but i also think that do you know what who cares what they say, i still have my ticket and if i know deep down i deseve it and worked for it then to be honest i don't care what they say. I would certainly not win and have my first thought of 'i wonder what will be written on horse gossip' my first thought it usually 'oh god i hope the marks are added up properly' or 'i hope i have enough wine with me'!!! At the end of the day I love showing but it is not my entire life, i have family, friends and a job also in my life and this will always keep me sane and not worried about people who decide to critcise me over one horse show, there are bigger things to worry about in life. So anyone who goes and qualifies the only person who can take the enjoyment out of it is yourself for worrying about it to much and caring what others think! Just don't worry and be happy!

I know what you mean but there a few names that are constantly mentioned on this site and for them it must be sole destroying. I am sure they would ignore the odd comment, but too much of it can drag you down. People must be insanely jealous to go that that extent and I feel really sorry for them but also feel sorry for those on the receiving end. I would not like it. I think it is Cyber bullying. Not that is would happen to me.
