Just spoken to someone at HOYS office & told me you won't get a qualifying rosette in any of the qualifiers. You will just be sent a letter or certificate to verify you have qualified for HOYS.

How mean and tight fisted, considering they charge a levy to enter these classes anyway. But I guess thats why they make so much money and then dump the M&M's in the back arena.

Yes but why should 1 incident at 1 show spoil it for everyone else.! It has been a tradition for years to get your HOYS rosette when you qualify & have photos taken with it. Just because the stewards etc gave the wrong marks & therefore the wrong placings doesn't mean every other set of stewards & judges are going to do the same at all the other qualifying shows. That rosette is very important to competitors & secures the result. At PUK West Midlands Show the qualifying competitors have still not had any verification to say they have definitely qualified as HOYS have been too busy doing other things.(& thats what they told me today). What does anyone else think ?

you have hit the nail on the head "secures the result" oh no it does not as in the case of the Connie class, quote " HOYS are the only people to verify the result the qualifying Rosette does not "
