Sorry to hear you made a loss and we will always continue to support your shows. We would certainly be happier with free membership instead of prizemoney. fingers crossed they continue

Hi, I attended this show and had a great time. I certainly appreciate all of the hard work and time you all put in to making it happen. I cant remember whether i am due any prize money or not but would like to say if I am I am quite happy for you to keep it and put it back in the pot in hope of this show continuing next year. I will pm you my details in case, but a big thank you for you putting on a good show.........such a shame that it was not as well supported as it should have been. Best of luck for next year!

Hi girls, will be a shame if you dont run anymore, its such hard work and having had a wet year in 2008 i know what its like to run at loss and fund out of your own pocket. Luckily we have 2 smalls bills to pay and will be straight for the 2010 shows but only takes a bad show to knock you back. I must admit i havent been to many last year anyway as concentrated on doing clubs with Dylan, but maybe think about extending your classes to cater for more than natives, we find Veterans and CHAPS very well supported and really support our shows, other than welsh and ridden classes, our m & m figures in hand & ridden at both shows have been very low, i know you want to be a native society, but would love to get my coloured mare out more next year.
Hope you are all well and will see you soon

Unfortunately we didn't make it to any of your shows this year but hope to be there in 2010.
I think free membership would help a lot as this is a benefit for everyone that competes where only a minority are actually lucky enough to win the prize money.
Good luck I hope it all works out.

Good luck in 2010. I only discovered this show after qualifying for it at Emma's show but sadly it was too late for us to make arrangements to attended although the schedule looked great. I sounded like you put your heart and soul into it. Providing money allows us, we will do or best to be there in 2010. Prize money is no great draw to me, a nice rosette and a welcome smile means far more xxx

I hope you will be able to continue, the shows are very well organised with good judges selected. We couldn't make the autumn show due to lorry being broken down but the summer was great. I don't think prize money matters, the rosettes and sashes are enjoyed the most by the children.

I agree nice rosettes and sashes tend to go down very well, we dont offer prize money as such as to be honest you never know what the turnout or weather will be, We offer a small amount to the Supreme at the Summer Show, normally they put it back in the pot, a quality rosette goes along way

Right i feel bad i didnt go to any of your shows last year [1st year in m@ms] i will definatley come next year as you are not far. Free membership would be a big plus, i dont care about prize money i would rather have a good day and a pretty rosette [iv heard yours are goregous]. Hopefuly people who are waiting for prize money will tell you to keep it for the up coming shows- i would. See you next year, keep up the hard work!

Don't forget they would more than likely have to hire jumps which is more of an expence especially if they didnt get the turn out.
Agree they have had good judges and kids prefer sashes etc to prize money ;D

I think the first year had workers but the entries were poor in that section. Def nice rosettes and sashes here. The fact that you have them to 3rd was brilliant, my daughter was thrilled to come 3rd.

We did the workers the first year there were only 4 in all 3 sections so not worth the expense of hiring the jumps.

We also really enjoyed your shows and agree with most of the other posts that we would rather recieve one of the really nice rosettes and sashes than prize money. We hope that you are able to run in 2010.

Sorry to hear that you lost money on your last show because of poor turnout. Perhaps a more sympathetic approach to your would-be competitors might help? My daughter entered (plus membership fee) one of your shows several weeks before the closing date as she thought this would be helpful. She then unfortunately lost her pony. She wrote before the closing date to explain this and hoped that at least a proportion of her£35 might be returned. However she was never answered, so we put it down to experience and vowed not to support the society in future.
